Skins is to scout for new actors for its third series on the upcoming Skins Live Tour.

The E4 teen drama, which has just axed its entire cast, will send a script to all ticket holders and hold auditions for new parts at the parties, running throughout April and May.

"We've been hunting for identical twin girls and a Polish guy through SkinsLife.com and we've had a fantastic response," said the show's co-creator and executive producer Bryan Elsley. "We're now looking for all sorts of people for Series Three - from extras all the way up to lead roles."

Unsigned bands can bag a slot on the tour, set to feature shows by Crystal Castles, The Teenagers, Cut Off Your Hands, XX Teens and The Rascals, by winning a competition on SkinsLife.com.

The dates are as follows:

Manchester Academy (April 10) (The Teenagers, TS7, Men in Masks, The Clik Clik, We Are Copycats)

Cardiff Solus (12) (Ladyhawke, The Clik Clik, David E Sugar, We Start Fires)
