CSS singer Lovefoxxx has banned herself from making music after becoming ground down by life in the Brazilian dance-pop band, saying that touring with them had "sucked" her "soul".

The frontwoman said she was recovering at home after life on the road, but insisted CSS would return in 2010 and learn from the mistakes they made making last year's 'Donkey' album.

"I'm not thinking about music at the moment," she told NME.COM. "I don't like making music now."

She explained that the band's hectic touring schedule had prompted her decision to step away from band life. "Touring is great but if you're doing too much it sucks your soul," she said. "When I'm on tour I'm very stressed, it got to the point where it was quite hard."

Lovefoxxx did, however, insist that CSS would come back in 2010 with a new album, and said that it would be vastly different from 'Donkey'.

""When we did 'Donkey' we were thinking about the live show, it was all we had in mind," she outlined. "Next time we're going to do something crazy and very 'dance'. I think it's going to be more experimental. We'll just go crazy and not worry about how to do it live."
