Boy George: 13 bags of cocaine found

Papers reveal drugs allegedly discovered at star’s home

There were 13 bags of cocaine allegedly found in Boy George’s apartment when he was arrested in New York last week.

The amounts were revealed in papers released by Manhattan's District Attorney yesterday (October 11), BBC News reports.

As previously reported, George was arrested and changed last Friday (October 7) after calling police to his New York home to report a burglary. The drugs were allegedly discovered by a computer in the flat.

The former Culture Club frontman’s lawyer however has already said the drugs are not George’s, stating: "He's a very social person. He has a lot of people over to his apartment."

George will appear in court on December 19, he faces up to 15 years in prison if found guilty.
