Culture Club are set to reform - but without singer Boy George.
Former members Jon Moss, Mikey Craig and Phil Pickett are on the lookout for new singers.
The band's manager Tony Gordon said that a TV company was interested in following the new band, with a world tour possible next year.
Gordon said the group were looking for three or four “young, great singers” to join the band.
“We cannot replace George - that’s going to be an impossibility,” he told the BBC “We want to keep the brand but give it an uplift and make it fun - great fun. Culture Club music was always joyous. We need that right now - we need a nice, happy band.”
Gordon said that he hoped to launch the new look band at a party in London next week.
As previously reported by NME.COM, a judge in New York issued a warrant for the arrest of Boy George after the singer failed to appear in court to explain why he wants to change his sentence for falsely reporting a burglary in October last year.
