Cypress Hill have announced that they will be releasing a new 'dubstep' five-track EP in early April.
The rap veterans, who released their eighth studio album 'Rise Up' in April 2010, have collaborated with dubstep DJ Rusko on the EP, which you can watch a trailer for by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.
Speaking about the EP, which is called 'Cypress X Rusko', rapper B-Real said: "This is one of those styles that we felt doing with Rusko would be a great match. We’ve always been the type of group to take chances on doing something radically different than what people expect from us."
He continued: "So this carries with the tradition of us going out of the box. If it’s not something that we embrace then we don’t dare mess with it and this is something we fell right into the pocket of."
Rusko has previously produced remixes of tracks by the likes of The Prodigy, The Temper Trap and Little Boots. He is also gearing up for the release of his second studio album 'Songs, which is set to be released in March of this year.
