The Daily Ligger: Oasis tell Amy Winehouse to calm it

Welcome to the Daily Ligger, your morning stop-off to see who in the world of music has been seen doing what.

Today’s top gossip:

Oasis Liam Gallagher offering Amy Winehouse some sage words of advice. He was overhead, saying: "She plays with fire, you get burnt. That’s the way it goes. If she knows what she's doing's not good then she needs to back up a bit.

“She’s young. I’d probably be doing the same thing - except twice the drugs. I’m sure she’ll grow out of it.” (The Sun).

From the papers:

The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood and U2’s The Edge watching the football together in London. (The Sun)

Girls Aloud’s Kimberly Walsh and Cheryl Tweedy at Red Cross Ball at The Room By The River in London. (The Daily Star).

Marilyn Manson at JFK Airport. (The Mirror).

NME.COM spots:

The Cribs Ryan Jarman held out his umbrella for Kate Nash in the pouring rain outside Brindisa at London Bridge. Sweet.

Primal Scream’s Mani DJing Primal Scream tracks at the Moose pub in central London. Coldplay's Guy Berryman, Grant Nicholas from Feeder, Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield, The Courteeners and Elbow were also present.

Comedienne Julia Davis watching Hot Chip at Camden’s Electric Ballroom in north London.

NME.COM user James Masini saw Noel Fielding watching British Sea Power at the Amersham Arms in New Cross, "popping in and out of the venue clearly with a constant urge for cigarettes, that smoking ban is clearly hindering his gig-watching ability!".
