Kanye West headed to Brighton Bowlplex after playing a gig in the city. He arrived in the early hours, and the alley had to stay open later than usual to accommodate him and his entourage. He ddin’t have enough money to pay for the bowling so the manager had to give him a special discount.

From the papers:

Sugababes' Keisha Buchanan has slated Britney Spears’ new video, for 'Gimme More'. She said: “Whoever put her in that new video should be shamed. The way she looks at the cameras petrifies me. She’s got dead eyes.” (The Sun).

Girls Aloud’s Kimberly Walsh held a 26th birthday bash at London’s Burlington Club, which was attended by her bandmates (Daily Star).

Coldplay’s Chris Martin was spotted walking through London Zoo, chatting on his mobile (The Sun).

Kylie Minogue has said that she will “always have feelings” for her ex-boyfriend, Oliver Martinez (The Sun).

The Pigeon DetectivesMatt Bowman was hanging around by his tourbus outside Islington’s Union Chapel after playing a gig there, when a drunk female fan was kicked off their tour-bus after somehow ambling her way in. She pointed at Matt, shouted, “Oy, Pigeon Detective! Look at your hair. You’re no bloody John Squire!” before being hauled away by her friend (from Matt C).

At the aftershow party of the same gig, The Kooks' Hugh Harris joked that he’d lost his inhaler to the toilet queue after emerging from a prolonged period in a cubicle (from Andy).
