Babyshambles' Pete Doherty has taken up Tai Chi. According to his bandmate, drummer Adam Ficek, he’s been meditating to relax on tour. “Stranger things have happened,” said Ficek on his Myspace blog.

Keane’s Tom Chaplin stopped to meet fans outside the Union Chapel in Islington, north London after his Mencap Little Noise Sessions gig there (Mirror).

Biffy Clyro have joked that they might cover Craig David in the future (Daily Record).

De La Soul went drining with cricketer Brian Lara and the Barbarians rugby team at Chinawhite in London (Mirror).
