Craig David, Britney Spears, Hard-Fi, Paul Weller, Rihanna – your music gossip stop

Welcome to the : your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Morrissey went to check out The Courteeners at the Camden Barfly on Friday night (March 7), and held court with the band after their show. Apparently he had travelled to London especially to see them and loved the show (from NME.COM's Rick).

From the papers:

Britney Spears whacked her head on an iron bar as she left a shop on Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard (various).

Craig David chatted up a blonde woman at High Road, Chiswick, west London. (Daily Mirror).

Rihanna and new squeeze Chris Brown sang each other's songs while canoodling at London’s Prophecy club (Daily Mirror).

E-mailed in from NME.COM users:

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, real name Sam Duckworth, wandered around London’s Barfly venue on Saturday (March 8) with a backpack on, while Hard-Fi’s Richard Archer looked “sweaty and glazy-eyed” with a pretty lady nearby (from Kelly).

Paul Weller (twice), Gary Lightbody and Nathan Connolly from Snow Patrol, Robert Plant, Robyn Hitchcock, Mark Lamarr and Duke Erickson from Garbage checked out The Zombies' three-night stint playing their classic album 'Odessey & Oracle' at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London (from Alan).
