Jarvis Cocker was left embarrassed when he bumped into Little Man Tate, the Sheffield band he dubbed "an absolute pile of shit". When the group introduced themselves to the singer he gave them a double thumps up. However, when they asked him whether he remembered slagging them off, the Pulp singer jumped backwards, raised his hands and said 'no, no!'.
