John Lennon 'wanted gay relationship with Paul McCartney' - Daily Gossip

The late John Lennon apparently wanted a gay relationship with his Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney.

A new book, 'John Lennon: The Life', also alleges that Lennon fantasised about sleeping with his own mother.

Yoko Ono and McCartney are furious at the claims, written by "respected Beatles author" Philip Norman. A source has said: "Both Sir Paul and Yoko are extremely angry and upset" (Daily Mirror).

Madonna partied with The Kills man Jamie Hince and Sting's wife Trudie Styler at husband Guy Ritchie's fortieth birthday party at their Punchbowl pub in London (The Sun).

Chester French man Max Drummey was bitten on the neck by wife Peaches Geldof at the V Magazine Min Rooftop Party (Daily Star).

Adele has split up with her boyfriend Michael (Daily Mirror).

'I Kissed A Girl' singer Katy Perry wore a low cut top and shorts at her debut London gig at Water Rats (Daily Mirror).

Phil Norman's book "Shout" is probably the "juciest" book about the Beatles...don't get me wrong...but I think he has totally lost his mind writing about this subject....it will make people hate him. If John did want a "relationship" with Paul, who could blame him.....hell I want a relationship with Paul......if you want the truth of the matter ask Ringo! John and Paul were the greatest songwriting combo the world has ever seen and ever will see (unless they possibly reincarnate into each others lives yet again)........seems to me Norman is just trying to tarnish the goods and sell a book.
