Is Liam Gallagher the new Bob Geldof? - The Daily Gossip

Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today's top gossip:

Liam Gallagher emulated Live Aid organiser Bob Geldof at a fundraising dinner for the Clan Cancer charity on Friday (October 31). The Oasis frontman allegedly took to the stage at The Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen and joked: "In the words of Bob Geldof, give us your fucking money, you rich bastards" (Daily Star).

From the papers:

Ozzy Osbourne and Slash 'partied' together by having tea and cakes, served by a french maid, before attending the Classic Rock Awards ceremony at London's Park Lane Hotel (The Sun).

Kylie Minogue is offering £1,300 for the return of five bags that were stolen from her before a gig in Bogota, Colombia. The bags contained passports, cameras, laptops and outfits belonging to the singer's crew (The Sun).

Kate Moss was so horrified by recent pictures of herself wearing a cat mask that she told a 'source' she thought she looked like Pete Doherty's cat, Dinger (Daily Star).

The Fratellis have dispelled rumours they are on the brink of splitting. Frontman Jon Fratelli said the reason the band recently cancelled a series of European and US gigs was because of a bereavement. He said they are planning to reschedule the dates (Daily Record).

George Michael is planning to spend £1 million on a gold and diamond model of his face (Daily Star).
