Duffy to star in new Diet Coke campaign - Daily Gossip

Duffy is set to star in the new Diet Coke ad campaign. The Welsh singer will follow in the footsteps of Kim Basinger by appearing in TV adverts for the soft drink. "I love the attitude of this new Diet Coke ad. I drink so much of the stuff, they were either going to give me shares in the company or put me in the advert," Duffy joked in a statement.

Lily Allen is trying to lose weight by trying 'Reggaelates' - doing Pilates while listening to the likes of Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff (Daily Mirror).

Razorlight's Carl Dalemo and Bjorn Agren have formed a covers band to keep themselves busy while bandmates Johnny Borrell and Andy Burrows complete a promotional tour of the US without them (The Sun).

Mike Skinner wants to make it in Hollywood after finishing the next (and reportedly final) Streets album (Daily Mirror).

Amy Winehouse has been offered the starring role in a Hollywood film, alongside Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. "The movie is a bit like Michelle Pfeiffer's 'Dangerous Minds'," a source said (The Sun).

Blink-182's Tom DeLonge says the band are talking about reuniting (Daily Star).

Zane Lowe's band Breaks Co-op were forced to abandon a support slot with Arctic Monkeys in Wellington, New Zealand after they got stuck in floods in Figi(The Sun).

Franz Ferdinand wrote and rehearsed their new album so loudly that they drew complaints from a nearby home for the deaf. The band rented an abandoned town hall in Glasgow to knock 'Tonight: Franz Ferdinand' into shape (Daily Record).
