Doves have beaten Oasis in the race to write a song for football club Manchester City. The band have recorded a version of club song 'Blue Moon' which is set to be played before tonight's (March 4) home match against Aston Villa.
Frontman Jimi Goodwin admitted they weren't as famous at City as the Gallaghers yet, though. ""I'll occasionally hear, 'All right, Jimi?", but it's not like Noel and Liam when they go to a game," he said (The Sun).

Amy Winehouse's estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil has supposedly been stepping out with a 16 year-old A-level student named Francesca Morralee (Daily Mirror).

Lily Allen's split from art dealer Jay Jopling has had one benefit – she's allegedly ended up with a swish art collection including a Damien Hirst original (Daily Mirror).

Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger is set to hook-up with 'Slumdog Millionnaire' composer AR Rachman to work on a new album in India (Daily Mirror).
