Kaiser Chiefs not launching TV career but supporting Green Day- Daily Gossip

Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson has laughed off tabloid reports he's on the verge of leaving the band to become a TV presenter. "I'm too into being in the band. They'd have to pay me a fuckload of money to do TV," he confirmed.
Wilson also revealed that Kaiser Chiefs are branching out - drummer Nick Hodgson has started making electronic music, while keyboard player Peanut is building a home studio. The band have also confirmed they are to support Green Day on their US tour this summer (Daily Star).

The Fratellis' frontman Jon Fratelli has formed a new band. He's writing the songs for The Codeine Breakfast Club, but won't be performing live (The Sun).

I bet the fat bastard didn't laugh it off as much as the TV bosses! What an arrogant talentless prick, there's no wonder he's not gonna be a TV presenter - no-one would employ him anyway!- I saw him present '...Buzzcocks', n it was almost as piss-poor as his band's attempt at 'music'. My nan would do a better job at TV or music than that fat talentless twat - and she's dead!

i think ncconner needs to chill out - alright mate, im not a huge fan of them either but there's no need to be a twat. He just refuted a false claim made about him, live and let live mate, you'll look less mental.

At some point a long time ago the Kaiser Cheifs listened to The Great Escape by Blur and badly missed the point. Then made a career out of it. For fucks sake.

Kaiser Chiefs are named after the South African football club Kaizer Chiefs, for whom former Leeds United captain Lucas Radebe once played. The band are big Leeds United supporters. Kaizer Chiefs are one of the biggest teams on the African continent, with an estimated 16 million fans.
