Today’s top gossip:

Amy Winehouse and Snoop Dogg had to abandon a recording session last year - because they smoked too much marijuana. But after numerous smoking breaks, the session - which produced the bare bones of two songs - was scrapped (The Sun).

Glasvegas' James Allan says he didn't ask drummer Caroline McKay to be in the band because he fancied her. "If anything, it was her trying to get with me," he said (Daily Record).
