Alex Turner's alleged move to New York to support girlfriend Alexa Chung, who has moved to the US to try and forge a TV career, is causing friction with his Arctic Monkeys bandmates, according to tabloid reports.

An unnamed source told The Sun that the transatlantic move has "caused a stink" with the other Monkeys members and, in what may be a bit of a leap, goes on to compare Chung to Yoko Ono (The Sun).

Liam Gallagher wore his notorious leopard skin shoes to London's Met Bar on Saturday (April 25) (The Sun).

David Miliband, the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Tweeted about Bob Dylan's concert while watching the gig at London's O2 Arena on Saturday (April 25). "Thank God the Labour Party have a box at the O2. Bob Dylan is sensational!" he said.

Amy Winehouse is gaining a reputation as the 'Pied Piper of St Lucia', after taking six local children to play on a local beach with her, while dad Mitch took a horse ride nearby (The Sun).

Little Boots has played down her coolness by admitting she's a geek. "I'm so not rock 'n' roll. I'm really a massive tech nerd," she said (Daily Star).

Ronnie Wood is planning to wed 20-year-old girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova (Daily Star).

Jarvis Cocker has confirmed he has split up from wife Camille Bidault-Waddington. "We're still on amicable terms," he said (The Sun).

Blue are set to reunite tomorrow (April 28) (The Sun).

New footage of Arctic Monkeys rehearsing their third album in a London studio have appeared on YouTube. The four-minute video - which you can watch on NME.COM now - shows the band joking around in the studio and covering Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face'. Midway through the video, the band (augmented by a keyboard player) are seen playing a previously unreleased track. Drummer Matt Helders narrates the video, which also features footage of a protest outside the Royal Bank Of Scotland that he and bassist Nick O'Malley stumbled into on a walk through central London.
