Eminem and Jonathan Ross become comic book buddies - Daily Gossip

Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Eminem and Jonathan Ross have bonded over classic comics. The TV presenter revealed - through his Twitter page - that after interviewing Slim Shady for his 'Friday Night With…' programme the duo headed back to his house to pore over Ross' immense (and costly) comic book collection.

To add even more excitement to the online frenzy Ross had caused by his near constant Twitter updates, the presenter and rapper launched a spontaneous competition offering a fan the chance to win a trip to Detroit to hang out with Eminem. The question? "On which 'Marvel' comic book cover did Eminem just appear?" (Twitter).

From the papers:

Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding partied at ATP in Minehead. She was spotted dancing to The Jesus Lizard (Daily Star).

Pete Doherty and Carl Barat are both set to play at this year's Celebrity Soccer Six tournament, held at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge ground on May 24 (Daily Star).

George Michael has dyed his eyebrows purple (Daily Mirror).

Frank Lampard's ex-squeeze Elen Rives watched Lily Allen's secret MySpace gig on Monday night (May 11) (Daily Star).

Kid British tried - and failed - to break the football-themed Guinness World Record for the most crossbar hits in one minute (Daily Star).
