Michael Jackson demands children's choir for London gigs - Daily Gossip
Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today's top gossip:

Michael Jackson has made a series of bizarre demands for extras to take part in his London O2 Arena shows, which kick off on July 13.

In an email to promoters AEG, Jackson said he wants to assemble a children's choir for the shows, made up of "exactly equal" numbers of black, white, Asian and mixed-raced kids.

The email added that all of the child singers must be able to do sign language. Jackson also wants to find six marching snare drummers to take part in the shows - though he doesn't want any of them to have beards or stubble (Daily Mirror).

From the papers:

Noel Gallagher went out for a curry with Kasabian (minus singer Tom Meighan) after Oasis' Heaton Park gigs in Manchester at the weekend (June 6, 7) (The Sun).

The Rascals' Miles Kane partied with model Agyness Deyn at London clubs Punk and Bungalow 8 (Daily Star).

Paul McCartney has employed Sadie Frost's 22-year-old sister Jade Davidson as a nanny for his five-year-old daughter Bea (The Sun).

Little Boots is getting fashion designer Henry Holland to make her an outfit to wear at Glastonbury (Daily Star).

Lady Sovereign got in a scuffle with bouncers at Glasgow's Garage club, after two of her entourage were thrown out of the premises for spitting in their drinks (Daily Record).

Dizzee Rascal fell into the audience during a gig at the University Of Kent on June 6 (The Sun).
