The Bee Gees' Robin Gibb has said Oasis' Noel and Liam Gallagher are mimicking them by having a tempestuous sibling relationship. Speaking about the recent Oasis split, Gibb said he and his brothers Maurice and Barry were rock'n'roll's first true band of brothers. "They're just copying us," he said. "We've been through all that. To be honest, I'm surprised they stayed together for as long as they did and I think they've gone as far as they can together." He added that the Gallaghers remind him of his brotherly relationships, "but on a more physically violent level" (Daily Mirror).
