Russell Brand has confirmed that he and Katy Perry are engaged. The comic reportedly popped the question to Perry while the couple were on holiday in India recently. "It's true," he admitted when asked about the rumours. Brand is said to have got down on one knee during a spiritual ceremony – conducted by a 'love guru' – on New Years Eve at the foot of a Jaipur mountain. The couple are now celebrating their news by holidaying in Thailand (The Sun).
