Kasabian: 'We'll play 'World In Motion' at V Festival' - Daily Gossip
Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Kasabian's Tom Meighan says the band are planning to cover New Order's Italia 90 World Cup song 'World In Motion' at their headline appearance at this year's V Festival. Despite the fact the South African World Cup will have finished by the time the Leicester band play V, Meighan says he likes the idea of re-living the competition – and may even get Keith Allen (who co-wrote the song) to make an appearance. "You know, we may well call up Lily Allen's dad and we'll do 'World In Motion' again," he quipped (The Sun).

From the papers:

Amy Winehouse had dinner with estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil at a tapas bar in Camden, north London before bumping into another ex, Alex Claire, who gave her some flowers after Fielder-Civil had left (various).

Lily Allen had to go to see the vet after her pet dog Mabel got in a fight with another mutt (various).

Lady Gaga says she is celibate (various).

Courtney Love and Ronnie Wood partied together at Roberto Cavalli's fashion show in Milan (Daily Mirror).

Whitney Houston's poor live performances recently have been blamed on her smoking habit by promoter Andrew McManus (Daily Record).
