Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Diana Vickers has waded into the debate about legal highs. Speaking as someone who's "played all the festivals" this year, the X Factor reject revealed some of the experiences she's encountered. "At festivals this summer, I've seen people passing out and people who don't know where they are or what they are doing after taking drugs," she said. "I was even around someone who thought that their friend was a fridge." She added: "Being that out of control scares me. Just because a drug is legal, you cannot assume it is safe" (The Sun).

From the papers:

Amy Winehouse's boyfriend Reg Traviss snuck away from his parents' pub after seeing the singer crying while talking to his dad through the window. Traviss was recently pictured holding hands with an ex-girlfriend (various).

David Guetta wants to work with Dizzee Rascal (The Sun).

Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos broke a tooth after eating "a hard bit of dead pig" (Daily Record).

One Night Only's George Craig has shot down rumours that he's dating Harry Potter actress Emma Watson. "I'm a single man," he said, adding that he fancies Watson but doesn't have the time to see her (Daily Record).

The guestlist for The Libertines' live rehearsal at London's HMV Forum was like a Who's Who of indie. Those in attendance included Jamie Reynolds, Liam Fray, Anthony Rossomando, Rose Elinor-Dougall, Baxter Dury, Wolfman, Steve Diggle and Drew McConnell. Lily Allen also Tweeted about it, asking those in attendance how the gig was going.
