Phil Collins has revealed he can only play the drums if he Sellotapes the sticks to his hands, due to a medical condition preventing him from holding them normally. The drummer and singer originally thought he'd never be able to play the drums again after suffering an adverse reaction following an operation for a spinal injury in 2009. Collins, who has come out of retirement to release Motown covers album 'Going Back' on Monday (September 10), managed to play on the album, though he admits: "I can't play the drums anywhere near as well as I did" (Daily Star).
