Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today's top gossip:

In a story straight from tabloid heaven, it is being claimed Pete Doherty has reportedly moved into Amy Winehouse's house. The 'Rehab' singer has apparently offered The Libertines singer a place to live in London and are apparently writing a song together. "Amy has really cleaned up her act and is now keeping an eye on Pete to make sure he's OK," a 'friend' said. "They want to write a song together about survival, love affairs, drugs, drink" (Daily Star).

From the papers:

Lady Gaga's raw meat dress that she recently wore at the MTV VMA Awards as a statement against the US military's 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy' is to be frozen and turned into beef jerky. Designer Franc Fernandez has reportedly confirmed that the singer will never wear the meat outfit again. "The dress will go through a process where it becomes a sort of jerky and will be archived," he said (Daily Mirror )

Gwen Stefani has unveiled a £200,000 waxwork of herself at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas (Daily Star).

Lostprophets frotman Ian Watkins reportedly tried to tear down a picture of Pixie Lott at the recent launch of the video game 'Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock' at London's Hard Rock Cafe. "He tried to take the picture down, saying, 'She's no rock legend'" an eyewitness said (Daily Star).

The Bees have slammed The X Factor's Simon Cowell for originally introducing the now-axed auto-tuning on contestants' vocals. "It was shocking, I was so angry about it," said singer Paul Butler. "It makes me queasy when that cheesy music comes on as though that person's life is nothing until Simon gives them a golden ticket" (The Sun).
