George Michael has issued a statement denying he's been bullied during his time in Highpoint prison in Suffolk. The singer, who was sentenced to eight weeks' imprisonment due to driving offences, said he's actually been treated with "kindness by inmates and staff", and has been biding his time by reading letters from fans and playing pool. "Please believe me when I tell you that in the last three weeks, there have been no tears, no anxiety, no bullying – in fact, not so much as a sleepless night for me," he said (various).
