Both used to work for a car valeting company in Manchester which counted the football club among its clients, McCarroll explains in his new book 'Oasis: The Truth, The Noel Truth, Is Nothing Like the Truth'. Apparently, during Gallagher and McCarroll's time there, Paul Ince's wheel arches were ruined after being scrubbed with wire wool, and Eric Cantona's brand new Mercedes somehow lost a door (Independent).
