Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out what the stars of the music world have been up to in the tabloids and beyond, with the help of plenty of "anonymous sources".

Today's top gossip:

Liam Gallagher obviously knows how to keep it real back home in Manchester. He treated a pub full of punters to an impromptu gig on Friday night (December 10), belting out Oasis classics including 'Wonderwall' while backed on guitar by a random drinker. Bosses at the Town Bar in Heaton Moor apparently offered to close the pub for Gallagher, but he objected, saying: "If I'm here, then people will come in" (News Of The World).

From the papers:

Kings Of Leon's reputation as rock's biggest divas is bolstered once more, we read. This time the band have allegedly demanded that no-one else use their toilets backstage at tonight's (13) Manchester MEN Arena gig and also at the Sheffield Arena tomorrow. Apparently roadies, management and even the band's support act The Whigs – who are also the Followill troupe's bezzie mates - have been told they're not allowed to use the bogs (The Sun).

Arctic Monkeys' Christmas plans have been revealed by one red-top this morning. Drummer Matt Helders has bought each of his bandmates some nifty WoWee speakers, while Alex Turner's missus Alexa Chung is taking the gang to London's All Star Bowling Lanes for a sesh (Daily Mirror).

Fame doesn't get you everywhere, it seems. N-Dubz' Tulisa and Fazer were both turned away from London clubnight Studio Valbonne (Daily Star).

Two Door Cinema Club's singer Alex Trimble has obviously been living dangerously recently – he's written a new song about a time he almost got mugged in a London alley (The Sun).

Here's a collaboration we never thought we'd see happen - Dr Dre and Justin Bieber have teamed up together. However, the duo are actually promoting a pair of headphones, named JustBeats, rather than any music (various).

Hmm... Taio Cruz is planning to cover John Lennon's 'Imagine' at New York's Times Square on New Years Eve (Daily Star).
