Liam Gallagher wishes Noel a merry Christmas - Daily Gossip
Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out what the stars of the music world have been up to in the tabloids and beyond, with the help of plenty of "anonymous sources".

Today's top gossip:

Are Liam and Noel Gallagher about to make peace? Despite Liam saying in this week's NME (available now on UK newsstands and digitally worldwide, by the way) that the brothers "haven't got" a relationship at present, he took to Twitter to wish his brother a happy Christmas. He wrote: "Noel Gallagher n Zutons Merry Christmas LG x". Over to you, Noel… (Twitter.com/liamgallagher).

From the papers:

In more Oasis-type news, we read that Simon Cowell is supposedly desperate to secure the services of Noel Gallagher as a judge on the next US series of The X Factor. In a bid to go one better than American Idol, which has Aerosmith's Steven Tyler as a judge, Cowell is said to have set his sights on British rock'n'roll royalty. "Sources" says he's already had meetings with Gallagher's manager about getting him to appear on the programme, as well as tapping up The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger for the show (The Sun).

It's party time for Christina Aguilera, who's ripping up London at the moment - and it's all in the red-tops. Unfortunately she had a few drinks too many on Monday night (December 13) at Floridita, and apparently had to be carried out of the club by her minder - before being given a bucket when back at her hotel (Daily Mirror).

The X Factor reject Olly Murs has felt the, er, 'wrath' of Dodgy, who say his new single 'Thinking Of Me' rips off their 1996 hit 'Good Enough' (The Sun).

The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood went to see their old mucka Paul McCartney's gig at New York's Harlem Apollo on Monday (The Sun).

Check back tomorrow for the next Daily Gossip.
