Jamie Hince in pap-scrap after partying with Kate Moss - Daily Gossip
Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out what the stars of the music world have been up to in the tabloids and beyond, with the help of plenty of "anonymous sources".

Today's top gossip:

The Kills mainman Jamie Hince is all over the tabs today (February 23) after getting in a scrap with a snapper who was bugging him.

Guitar whiz Hince lost his temper a bit with a lensman who was being a pain to him outside Soho’s Box nightclub, where he’d been partying with fiancée Kate Moss and Gossip singer Beth Ditto. The police were called, but they only had a quick chat with him - so he's free to head to the Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony tonight!

The Kills man’s evening had actually started in rather civilised circumstances, in Number 10 Downing Street, no less. Hince was accompanying Moss to a reception given by Samantha Cameron to celebrate London Fashion Week (The Sun).

From the papers and beyond:

Speaking of hanging out with people in high places, the tabs also have pics of Cheryl Cole deep in conversation with Prince Charles. Apparently she wanted his input on her new venture, The Cheryl Cole Foundation (The Sun).

Paul McCartney took in Lady Gaga’s show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Monday night (February 21), we read. Macca shunned a corporate box in favour of sitting among normal ticket-buyers. He also danced his arse off to ‘Born This Way’ (Daily Star)

Kanye West has called Justin Bieber his “new beat protégée” and has even been in the studio with the teen sensation. He posted a pic of Bieber at work on his Twitter page, Twitter.com/kanyewest.

Much of the T In The Park line-up was announced yesterday, and organiser Geoff Ellis have opened up about some of the acts he’s booked and their unusual requests. Tom Jones would only agree to play this year if Ellis gave him a fish supper, while a few years ago Iggy Pop demanded the wall of his dressing room be covering in paintings from local artists (Daily Record).

Finally, La Roux's Elly Jackson was also snapped at London Fashion Week, sitting next to actress Tilda Swinton, with the resemblance being almost uncanny. The ‘Bulletproof’ singer also admitted that, due to the lack of shelves in her home, she may use her newly-acquired Grammy as a doorstop (Daily Mirror).

It’s the Shockwaves NME Awards tonight, so check back tomorrow for all the gossip from the ceremony.
