Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out what the stars of the music world have been up to in the tabloids and beyond, with the help of plenty of "anonymous sources".

Today's top gossip:

Charlie Sheen could be taking life advice from an unlikely source: The X Factor losers Jedward.

The duo recently attempted to contact troubled actor Sheen by tweeting at his Twitter.com page, Twitter.com/charliesheen. They told him to "stay cool, stay focused" and compared his antics to their own, writing: "He [Sheen] is not crazy, he’s just attention seeking. He saw that it worked with us and our hair.”

The pair's own Twitter.com page can be found at Twitter.com/planetjedward. Sheen has yet to reply to them, though.

From the papers and beyond:

The red-tops are full of pictures of an almost-nude Olly Murs today (March 14). The X Factor runner-up signed a pledge to perform in the buff at London’s G.A.Y night if his debut single got to Number One, which it did last September. He didn’t go completely starkers for the show, however, stripping down to just a cow-themed thong instead. See for yourself at Thesun.co.uk.

Scary fandom now: it's emerged that during the time of the recent Justin Bieber 'riot' in Liverpool two unnamed fans snuck into his hotel, changed into hotel staff uniform and went to the singer’s room. They were discovered when a member of Bieber’s entourage saw them taking pictures of his stuff and were swiftly evicted. Justin was so freaked out by the incident he supposedly spent the night on a tourbus (Daily Mirror).

Bruno Mars' fans have been hurling grenades at him. The singer admitted to being “freaked out” after fans begun throwing toy grenades on the stage during his 'Grenade' song at recent shows (Daily Record).

Mariah Carey has apparently begun preparing for the arrival of her twins by hired in a dog psychiatrist. The singer, whose first children are due this spring, is said to be worried that her mutts will feel rejected by the new arrivals and has brought in an expert help to make sure they don’t (Daily Star).

The View have admitted that they regret spunking away the money they made from their second album ‘Which Bitch?’. Singer Kyle Falconer said of the band’s spending habits: "We were fucking minted. We did anything we wanted. There was a time when we actually burned cash" (The Sun).

Finally, congratulations are due to Bryan Adams, who is set to become a father at the age of 51. The Canadian singer’s new arrival is due in May (Can Music).
