Shockwaves NME Awards top gossip – Ligger special

Bobby Gillespie knocked over a guest dressed as a clown backstage at the Shockwaves NME Awards Big Gig. It was an accident, though, as the Primal Scream man didn't even realise he'd done it.

Kate Nash had heart-to-heart chats with female friends in the loos at the O2 Arena.

Billy Bragg apologised to Kaiser ChiefsRicky Wilson for “butchering” ‘I Predict A Riot’ on YouTube. He said, “I really like the song and I'll revisit it sometime and do it justice”.

When presenters Mat Horne and James Corden said Kate Nash was fit, her boyfriend, The CribsRyan Jarman, smiled knowingly and took a swig of his beer.

Nash and Bragg gatecrashed Vampire Weekend’s table to sing along to The Cribs’ performance.

Model Agyness Dean and her boyfriend, Josh Hubbard, danced ‘manically’ to Manic Street Preachers.

Before they headed to Punk, Arctic Monkeys and Kimberly Stewart were refused entry to the O2 Arena backstage bar because they didn’t have the right wristbands.
