Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today's top gossip:

Amy Winehouse is apparently being looked after by concert promoter and media personality David Gest as she struggles to cope with her well-documented problems with drink, drugs and her recent divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil.
Gest, who was introduced to Winehouse by ex-Busted member Matt Willis, took the 'Back To Black' singer out to dinner at a London pub to raise her spirits. However, the evening didn't go to plan, as Winehouse allegedly burst into tears in the bar. She was later pictured leaving the pub looking bleary-eyed and with scratches on her arms (Daily Mirror).

From the papers:

Phil Spector says his fellow inmates at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison would kill each other "for a 39 cent bag of soup" (The Sun).

Johnny Borrell partied in London club Mahiki, wearing a white bowler hat (Daily Mirror).

The Enemy's Andy Hopkins injured his foot celebrating after a golf tournament (The Sun).

Jet's Chris Cester says Noel Gallagher once offered a girlfriend of his some advice on how to deal with dating a rock star. He said "patience and understanding" were vital, though Cester added that the couple have now split (Daily Star).

Mr Hudson is going out with Fearne Cotton (The Sun).
