Damien Rice has unveiled his new single ‘I Don’t Want to Change You’ – listen to it below.
The song – posted earlier today (September 24) on the singer-songwriter’s Facebook page – is taken from upcoming album ‘My Favourite Faded Fantasy’ and follows the release of the album’s title track earlier this month. Produced by Rick Rubin, the LP marks a return to studio recording for Rice after an eight year hiatus.
“Sometimes you have to step away from what you love in order to learn how to love it again,” the 40-year-old previously commented in a statement. “For some reason I just had a feeling that I would feel comfortable being open and being me and being vulnerable with Rick.”
Rice’s third album is due for release November 3.
