THE RETURN OF THE DAMNED

'Grave Disorder' is released later this month - and the punk pioneers will also take the new material to America...

THE DAMNED have a gig lined up at LONDON DINGWALLS on August 21 to mark the release of their new album 'GRAVE DISORDER'.

The band - whose line-up is currently frontman Dave Vanian, ex-Gun Club and Sisters Of Mercy bassist Patricia Morrison, original Damned member Captain Sensible on guitar, plus Monty Oxy Moron on keyboards and Pinch on drums - release the album through Nitro records on August 20 in the UK and 21 in the US.

The group's first full new album since 1986's 'Anything', the tracklisting is:

'Would You Be So Hot'
'Absinthe'
'Amen'
'Neverland'
'The End Of Time'
'Obscene'
'W'
'Beauty Of The Beast'

Following the album's release, the band will tour in north America. The handful of dates so far confirmed are:
Vancouver, The Commodore (September 21)
Seattle, The Showbox (22)
Portland, Roseland (23)
San Francisco, Great American Music Hall (26)
Los Angeles, House Of Blues (29)
Denver, The Bluebird (October 7).
