Jamie Hewlett turns Monkey opera into comic strip
Artists mark the show's return to London
Damon Albarn collaborator Jamie Hewlett has turned the pair's opera into a comic strip.
The Gorillaz pair most recently collaborated on 'Monkey: Journey To The West', which has enjoyed limited runs in Manchester and London.
The show is returning to London from November 8, at a purpose-built tent adjacent to the 02 Arena.
To mark the occasion Hewlett - who rose to prominence with the comic series 'Tank Girl' - has refashioned the story in print.
It will be published in a future issue of Time Out magazine. For more information, Monkeyjourneytothewest.com.
