It is believed there are plans to turn the ground floor of the club into a public bar open seven days a week...

HOME, the superclub in LONDON's LEICESTER SQUARE that went into receivership in April, could be set to re-open after a £20million buy-out.

It has been reported that receivers KPMG have sold Big Beat, Home's parent company, to a group called Finlaw 279 Ltd. Big Beat includes The Tunnel in Glasgow and Media in Nottingham in its portfolio.

Finlaw are said to have awarded the management contract for all the Big Beat venues to the Mean Fiddler organisation. Mean Fiddler already owns many significant London live venues including the Astoria, The Forum and The Garage.

No-one from Mean Fiddler was available for comment at press time, though the dance music website burnitblue.com quotes Adam Reynolds from the organisation confirming Home would be ready to open "very shortly".

Westminister council shut the club in March following allegations of drug dealing inside.
