Dane Bowers will not face car crash charge

Police action to take 'no further action' against former boy band singer

Dane Bowers will not face car crash charge

Dane Bowers will not face police action over his car crashing into a hedge in Surrey.

The former Another Level singer was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving in May after a collision near the house of ex-girlfriend and model Katie Price - or Jordan as she is more widely known.

After being alerted to a noise near Price's home officers found a Vauxhall Tigra had crashed. Bowers and another man were then held at Reigate Police Station for several hours.

A Surrey Police spokeswoman told BBC Surrey: "Following extensive inquiries two men, a 26 year-old from Peterborough and a 29-year-old from South Croydon, who were arrested on Tuesday, May 26 in Woldingham, have been released with no further action."
