BEDINGFIELD GOES BACK TO THE TOP!

There's no stopping the UK Garage star...

DANIEL BEDINGFIELD has climbed back to the top of the UK single charts this afternoon (January 6).

'Gotta Get Thru This', a track which topped the charts in 2001, has climbed one place to Number One, after being kept from the top spot over Christmas by Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman's cover of 'Somethin' Stupid'. That has fallen two places to Number Three, with Sophie Ellis Bextor's 'Murder On The Dancefloor - another climber inside the Top Ten, moving two places to Number Two.

The only new entry inside the Top Ten this week comes from Backstreet Boys with 'Drowning' at Number Four, while other notable new entries are Ash at Number 13 with 'There's A Star' and 'I Don't Wanna Lose My Way' by Dreamcatcher, one place lower at Number 14.

This week's Top Ten UK singles are: 1. Daniel Bedingfield - 'Gotta Get Thru This'
2. Sophie Ellis Bextor - 'Murder On The Dancefloor'
3. Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman - 'Somethin' Stupid'
4. Backstreet Boys - 'Drowning'
