The star performs to tens of thousands as he previews new album 'Reality'...
David Bowie
will perform to tens of thousands of fans when an intimate concert he plays today (September 8) is beamed into cinemas around the world.
The star will launch his new album 'Reality' at the London concert. He will also answer questions and take requests.
Fans in Europe will watch the show live - but it will be aired later in other countries due to time differences, the BBC reports.
A spokesperson for the star said: "This is another example of how Bowie constantly pushes the boundaries."
David Bowie is expected to play 'Reality', out September 15, in full during the 90-minute show, as well as classic tracks such as 'Changes' and 'The Jean Genie'.
The concert will be shown in cinemas in cities including Rio de Janeiro, Warsaw, Tokyo and Sydney.
More than 20 cinemas across Europe will receive it live by satellite while audiences in Asia, Japan and Australia will see it the following day.
In the United States, Canada and South America, it will be screened on September 15. >
