David Bowie is set to feature in an episode of ’Extras’- Ricky Gervais’ hit comedy.
Bowie will feature in the second series of the show playing himself.
The storyline of the episode will feature Gervais' character Andy attempting to bribe himself into a private club where the singer is performing but is kicked out when Bowie starts playing, The Sun reports.
Other celebrities being lined-up for the new series include actors Sir Ian McKellen, Stephen Fry, Diana Rigg and Orlando Bloom.
Madonna had reportedly asked to be in the show but was forced to pull out of filming due to touring commitments.
