No, it's not some kind of hideous naturist concept album, Bowie and Massive Attack have collaborated on a version of the classic 'Nature Boy'...

MASSIVE ATTACK and DAVID BOWIE have collaborated on a new version of the classic song 'NATURE BOY'.

Bowie recorded his vocal part in New York last month and sent the tape to Massive Attack in the UK within the last few weeks.

Massive Attack's Robert '3-D' Del Naja then put the finishing touches to the song in London, according to this morning's Daily Star newspaper (March 12).

'Nature Boy' has previously been recorded by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and John Coltrane.

Bowie has described their version of the song as "slinky and really mysterious". He added: "3-D has put together a riveting piece of work."

The song will feature on the soundtrack to the forthcoming Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman film 'Moulin Rouge', the soundtrack to which will also feature Beck covering Bowie's 'Diamond Dogs'.

Massive Attack continue to work on their new album, due for release in the autumn. The band are considering playing live shows in the UK to coincide with the release, and have not ruled out the possibility they will play a festival date in the summer.
