STREET PREACHERS NEED HOLMES!
Maverick dance meister to get involved with the new MSP LP, nme.com can reveal...
David Holmes is set to produce two tracks on the forthcoming new Manic Street Preachers album, nme.com can reveal.
Eclectic punk-dance hero Holmes, whose hotly-tipped new album 'Bow Down To The Exit Sign' is released on Monday (June 12) through Go Beat, was approached by lead singer James Dean Bradfield, who said he was a fan of David's previous work.
A spokesperson for David told nme.com: "They've talked about David doing a couple of tracks, and David's certainly into it, but there's nothing more we can say at the moment."
The Manics have been in and out of Rockfield Studios in Wales over the past couple of months demoing songs for the follow up to last year's 'This Is My My Truth, Tell Me Yours'.
The London launch party for Holmes' album Bow Down To The Exit To The Exit Sign takes place tonight and nme.com will be there - come back tomorrow for a full report.
