Deadmau5 has announced the release of a retrospective greatest hits album '5 Years Of Mau5'.

The album will be released through Mau5trap/ Virgin EMI on November 24 and will feature highlights from the Canadian EDM producer's career so far.

A tracklisting for the record is yet to be announced, however it has been confirmed that the release will take the form of a double album.

Deadmau5 has released seven albums over his career, the most recent of which is 'while (1<2)', released earlier this year (2014).

Meanwhile, Deadmau5 was recently threatened with legal action by Disney over dispute with his mouse ears symbol.

The US EDM artist has used his signature look for 10 years and has trademarked it in countries such as Germany, Japan, Italy and the UK. However an effort to do the same in America has been met by opposition from the home of Mickey Mouse, who believe that it would affect their business in the US and abroad.
