Death Cab For Cutie man, Jenny Lewis team up at Democratic Convention

Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley have announced that they will perform tomorrow (August 27) at Unconventional '08, an event in conjunction with the ongoing Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The event is set to take place at the Manifest Hope Gallery and is being sponsored by Moveon.org and Generation Obama.

Also on the bill are Cold War Kids, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Silversun Pickups, Zooey Deschanel, Johnathan Rice and Nada Surf. Comedian Sarah Silverman is also set to perform.

Meanwhile, Gibbard and his Death Cab For Cutie bandmate Chris Walla will deliver an acoustic set in Denver tonight at Concert For A Cooler Planet, a private event put on by the League of Conservation Voters.
