Death From Above 1979 have posted a teaser clip of new music online.

The duo, who confirmed they were working on new material back in 2012, posted the snippet on their official website Deathfromabove1979.com. On the same site, the band posted a link to a Reddit board devoted to DFA 1979 updates.

DFA 1979 originally separated in 2006 after six years together. The pair later reformed for a string of festival appearances and a UK date in 2011.

Both members have been working on new projects. Sebastien Grainger released solo LP, 'Yours To Discover' late last year. Bassist Jeese Keeler also produced the soundtrack for 'Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired By The Warriors' in 2011 which featured artists from the Teenage Riot Records roster, including LA Riots and Congorock. The duo also put out a Christmas jumper in December 2013.

The band released their debut album 'You're A Woman And I'm A Machine' in 2004, which was followed by remixes and B-sides album 'Romance Bloody Romance' in February 2006.
