HOLLYWOOD bad guy DENNIS HOPPER is set to work with Death In Vegas on one of a series of short films the group are to make for their new album ‘SCORPIO RISING'.

Hopper, star of films including 'Speed', 'Easy Rider' and 'True Romance', is currently in cult US TV show '24'.

Death In Vegas plan to make a series of short films for release on DVD next year to accompany the music on their album ‘Scorpio Rising’, released on September 16. Richard Fearless told NME.COM: "There’s filming of the recording and construction of the artwork in India, and we’re doing a short film for each song. Every film has a range of actors, directors and artists involved. It’s really exciting but I’m not allowed to say anything. Because it’s on a DVD we won’t have that thing where we have to conform to MTV rules for the short films."

The actors, directors and artists involved remain secret at this stage, but NME.COM understands that Hopper is among the stars tipped to work with the group.

Death In Vegas play a UK tour in October.
