STAR STUDDED GIG IDEA DIES A DEATH

But there is other news to make up for it...

Death In Vegas
have been forced to abandon plans for a concert at LONDON's ROYAL ALBERT HALL featuring collaborations from their past two albums.

The duo of Richard Fearless and Tim Holmes were unable to find a date that matched the schedules of album guests from 'The Contino Sessions' and 'Scorpio Rising' - including Liam Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie, Paul Weller, Iggy Pop and Dot Allison.

Meanwhile, Death In Vegas will play a late night gig at London's Brixton Academy on May 2. The event runs from 9pm - 2am and will feature special guests.

A full UK tour is due to be announced in the coming weeks, with a new single from 'Scorpio Rising' scheduled to coincide with the band's Brixton show.

The duo are also tipped to be the next act to select tracks for the latest in the 'All Back To Mine' compilation series, though no release date has yet been set.
