Deftones, Korn and Motörhead among latest Download 2016 line-up additions

Deftones and Korn lead the latest additions to next year's Download Festival.

The annual event returns in 2016 with headliners Rammstein, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath announced last month (October). Download 2016 takes place on June 10-12, 2016 at the "spiritual home of rock" in Donington Park, Leicestershire.

Today (November 9), a raft of new names on the bill have been announced, including fan favourites Korn and Deftones. Both bands are expected to release new albums next year.

Korn will perform on the Friday of the festival (June 10) alongside Motörhead, while Deftones will be at Donington on the Saturday (June 11). Nightwish and Disturbed round off the new additions with both bands confirmed to perfom on Sunday, June 12.

Ozzy Osbourne's band, Black Sabbath, will headline Saturday night (June 11), while Iron Maiden headline Sunday night (June 12). Rammstein bring their elaborate pyrotechnics to the stage on June 10.

Download 2015 was headlined by Muse, Kiss and Slipknot with Faith No More, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe and Marilyn Manson also on the bill.
