Del Amitri singer Justin Currie has been issued with a warrant for his arrest.
He failed to turn up to court to face a speeding charge on Thursday (October 12) at Perth District Court in Glasgow.
Currie is charged with speeding on the A9 which is described by Glasgow’s Evening Times as: ‘notorious.’
According to the paper, he is accused of driving his Seat Leon car at 61mph in a 50 mph zone near the Ballinluig junction.
Currie already has nine points on his licence and could face a ban from driving.
